Located in Freehold, Biotechnology High School (BTHS) is a full-time, four-year Career Academy. As an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, BTHS is recognized as a rigorous high school program that uniquely prepares students to think critically and globally. The BTHS curriculum emphasizes laboratory science, research, mathematics, and technology. Two 3000 square-foot research labs enable students to engage in long-term research projects, and a tissue culture lab engages students in cutting-edge laboratory work. Flexible meeting spaces promote teamwork, a hallmark of the biotechnology industry. Thematic classes focus on genetics, environmental, biomedical and agricultural biotechnology, along with BioEngineering and BioBusiness.
